meji sky
the animation framework
every orb, field, screen and veil on mejistudios.com comes from two files. this page is those two files, running.
orbs
one circle, a radial light source, and a blurred shadow that stays put while the object rises. it is the nav, the section anchors, the avatars, the swatches, the loading posters.
pick one to paint the orb at the top
zones
a fixed-height stage; items sit at percentage coordinates, so the composition holds its shape at any width. under 640px it collapses into a wrapped row.
screens
with no video attached a screen still looks deliberate — the face is generated, and its hue comes from the item’s own id.

a countdown to the coming friday at eight in the evening, local time.

two files
meji-sky.css — the sky, the twelve orb palettes, bob and halo and ring, the floating fields, the screens, the five still silhouettes, the controls, the veils.
meji-sky.js — the veil stack, orb painting, deterministic scatter, hover-wake previews, the countdown.

no build step, no dependencies, no npm. reduced motion stops every animation.
